The competition is made up of two categories; before and after dinner cocktail, and making of 4 signature cocktails in 12 minutes. In the sense of the evaluation the judges will be looking at the scent, the taste, the look, the professional work, the presentation, the relationship with the guests, the skill and the show provided by the barman.
Out of 36 qualified competitors, 18 of them will enter the semifinals, from which the top 3 finalists will be selected from each category. The final will require each of the bartenders to prepare 5 cocktails within 10 minutes.
The emphasis is on showing their creativity in making and presenting cocktails, as well as showing how cocktails can be served in a special and personalized way at hotel bars.
The top 3 bartenders who enter the finals will find a mystery box in which ingredients will be:
Finalists are obliged to use ingredients from the mystery box, and whether they will use everything in the cocktail or choose one of each. Additionally, the ingredients can also be used as decorations.
Competitors will be able to choose the category themselves and will have 6 minutes to prepare 2 cocktails. The best rated cocktail wins a special sponsor award.
The competition program starts on 25th of April 2019 at 12:00, and ends on 26. at 19:00 with a gala dinner and announcing the winner. Applications can be sent to [email protected]
